Powdersville Apartment Fire

Powdersville, Wren, West Pelzer, and Three and Twenty firefighters responded to an apartment fire at Heritage Trace Apartments off Highway 153 in Powdersville just before 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, June 1. Pelzer EMS also responded. According to Powdersville Fire Chief the fire was contained to one building and no one was hurt or injured. The fire was in the roof and the roof collapsed. Eight apartments are in the unit that caught fire which remains under investigation. The Red Cross was on scene working with apartment complex management to move residents who were affected by the fire.

House fire under investigation

Firefighters from three departments battle a house fire Tuesday night on Highway 81 near Irby Road. When Piercetown firefighters arrived two minutes after receiving the call flames were coming from the roof of the home. The occupant had made it out of the burning home. Three and Twenty and West Pelzer firefighters assisted in extinguishing the fire. Pelzer EMS also responded to the call. A fire investigator was called to determine the cause of the blaze. Driver transported – Three Bridges Road

Driver injured – Three Bridges Road

One driver pinned, other leaves scene – Old Greenville Hwy.

Walker – McElmoyle and Three and Twenty firefighters work at the scene of a two vehicle accident on Old Greenville Highway on Sunday morning. A Ford Mustang apparently crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck. The driver of the truck then left the scene on foot but was found by authorities later. The driver of the Mustang who was critically injured was pinned inside the wreckage and had to be cut free by firefighters. The driver was then rushed to Greenville Memorial Hospital Trauma Center by LifeFlight helicopter. Pendleton and Pelzer Emergency Medical Services also responded to the wreck. The SC Highway Patrol is investigated and Anderson county deputies assisted troopers in locating the pickup truck driver. (Photo by David Rogers)

Teen killed in early morning accident – Three Bridges Road

The SC Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in which a 15-year-old passenger in an SUV was killed. The single-vehicle accident happened on Three Bridges Road near Cely Road at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. Troopers said a 27-year-old Easley man was driving a 2006 Dodge Durango, heading west on Three Bridges Road, when the SUV ran off the road, into a ditch, struck a tree, and rolled several times.

House fire – Warrington Drive

Firefighters from Powdersville, Three and Twenty, and Wren work at the scene of a house fire Monday night. The home on Warrington Drive in the Sedgefield Subdivision suffered moderate damage. Pelzer EMS stood by as a precaution until the fire was extinguished. This fire made the third working structure fire than Powdersville has responded to in two days. (Photo by David Rogers)

Trailer tire catches fire

A Three and Twenty firefighter works to extinguish a tire fire Monday evening. The rear wheels on a low boy trailer caught fire as the truck and trailer were traveling on Highway 8 near Highway 88. The trailer was quickly disconnected from the truck and the tractor removed from the trailer to keep damage to a minimum. (Photo by David Rogers)

Three injured – Ridge Road

Three people were injured in a two vehicle accident on Thursday evening in The Three and Twenty community. A pickup truck and a car collided in the intersection of Ridge Road and East Church Road.
