Wren, Palmetto to get new auditorium seats

During their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, the Anderson School District One Board unanimously approved the purchase of 1,400 new auditorium seats for Wren and Palmetto High Schools. The project will cost approximately $223,000 and should be completed over the summer. Funding for the project will be from a contingency fund of the local option sales tax.

The new seating will be indentical to seats installed in the Powdersville High Auditorium. Each school has seating for 700.
